Cancer associated antigen 549 (CA 549) normal range is not higher than 11 U/ml. The Level of CA 549 is elevated in patients with breast carcinoma.

According to information content, this breast tumor-associated antigen is no different from other mucin-like markers. Elevated levels of CA 549 tumor marker is observed in benign liver diseases (30%) and sometimes with mastopathies.
